Through member letters, the actions of Jeff Helsdon, the Legislative Affairs Chair and the tireless work of Judy Smith of the DPC of Dallas, American Airlines has changed their policy. We owe Judy Smith and DPCD a debt of gratitude.
 
On Sept 19, 2003 at the Dallas Doberman Fall Specialty in Ft. Worth, TX AMR Cargo Operations V.P. Kevin Diamonti was presented with a plaque of recognition & appreciation thanking them for rescinding the breed ban restriction on shipping in lieu of a proper container and releasable ties.
