kevin roeckl
Kevin Roeckl (pronounced RO-kul) has been recognized as the premier Doberman artist in the U.S. since 1991.
Roeckl was chosen to renovate the Doberman Pinscher Club of America’s official logo, and create the Tommie Jones Memorial Trophy (a Fine Art painting) which is presented to the “Breeder of the Year” at the Doberman Nationals each year. Roeckl’s work has been featured on the covers of five national magazines. He has been commissioned to paint the portraits of numerous Champion show dogs, as well as beloved family pets.
Kevin shares: "At age 28 I bought my first dog, a Doberman. I knew little about the breed except they were the most beautiful dogs I had ever seen. I intended my dog to live outside in a doghouse...but by the end of his life, Jake had become my best friend, my hero, and my greatest joy. Every painting I've created of a Doberman is my love song to him."
