Awards of Canine Excellence

The DPCA Needs Your Help to Ace This Year's AKC Awards

The American Kennel Club is now accepting nominations for the Awards of Canine Excellence (ACE). The Ace Awards recognize purebred dogs that have accomplished something significant (big or small) to benefit the community or an individual. The AKC will appoint a winner in each of the following categories: Law Enforcement, Search & Rescue, Therapy, Service and Companion Dog. Each winner will be presented with a medallion and a $1,000 check at the AKC/Eukanuba Championship in Long Beach, California.

As you know, this year we are celebrating the Centennial Anniversary of the Doberman Pinscher in America. We have powerful stories to tell and we want the world to know! Our goal is to enter as many stellar Dobermans in as many categories as possible. The DPCA Centennial Committee is willing to help make that happen by assisting Doberman owners with entries. We will help you edit your submissions and will submit them on your behalf to the AKC.
