This is a reminder that if you are applying for any of the following awards, the information needs to be submitted by August 1, 2011.

Breeder of Five ROMs

Breeder of Ten ROMs

Breeder of Fifteen ROMs

Sire of Four ROMs

Dam of Two ROMs

If your dog completes the ROM requirements before the August 1 deadline, you will receive your ROM this year at the National Specialty.  In order to process ROMs, you will need to supply copies of the AKC championship, the WAC, and the qualifying performance title.  The qualifying performance titles are found on the DPCA website under the WAE/ROM tab.

If you are receiving a ROM and wish to purchase an additional medallion (for co-owner, breeder, etc.) you may do so by sending a check to the ROM Secretary for $30 made out to the DPCA.  The first medallion for a ROM dog is free.

For those applying for the Breeder Awards or the Sire/Dam Awards, you will need to send verification that you are the breeder of the dogs involved or that the stud dog or brood bitch is the parent of the get involved.  A copy of the registration for the dogs involved is the easiest way but also acceptable would be copies from catalog pages or any other verifiable means.

Sire of Four ROMs
Dam of Two ROMs
Breeder of Five ROMs
Breeder of Ten ROMs
Breeder of Fifteen ROMs
The Sire and Dam of ROMs do not have to be ROMs themselves, and in fact need to have no titles.  Verification could include copies of AKC registrations, pages from catalogues showing parentage, or any other document which is verifiable as to sire or dam.
If you are the breeder of 5, 10 or 15 ROMs, please submit the names of those ROMs along with some verifiable documentation showing you as either the breeder or co-breeder of those ROMs.
