Yearbook & Directory of Breeders

Each year, the Doberman Pinscher Club of America publishes this Guide as a service to its members and to the general public.

WHAT THIS GUIDE IS...
As originally conceived, the primary purpose of the Breeders Directory was to assist people who wished to buy a Doberman or to find a stud dog, by supplying a list of DPCA members in good standing. To that end, all breeders listed in this Directory are DPCA members who have agreed to abide by the DPCA Code of Ethics found in this publication. The Code provides in part that they do not sell Dobermans for resale, nor permit their studs to be used by anyone who does. In short, they have indicated that they are not commercial dealers in dogs, or suppliers to pet shops.

While the Directory portion continues to be a major element of this publication, the Guide aspect has grown in recent years to the point where it now provides DPCA members (as well as nonmembers) with important information on the Club itself and its various services. It is a valuable communications medium for keeping the membership informed about current programs and functions.

WHAT THIS DIRECTORY IS NOT...
The material and listings contained in this Directory are purely informational, and should not be construed as constituting recommendations of the Doberman Pinscher Club of America. Unfortunately, the DPCA cannot guarantee that all those listed in this Directory will, in every instance act in accordance with the spirit as well as the letter of the DPCA Code of Ethics. Therefore, the DPCA accepts no responsibility for transactions which may result from the use of this Directory. It is recommended that prospective purchasers of puppies or stud services read the DPCA Code of Ethics published herein and make such investigations as they normally should in the purchase of any goods or services. The listings published in this Guide are done with the distinct understanding that the DPCA shall not be accountable for errors and omissions which are almost inevitable.
