The Gwen DeMilta Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the breeder(s) of the sire and dam earning the most points in the DPCA Futurity and Maturity competitions at the National. Points are awarded as follows: 1 point per dog defeated at the class level for placements 1-4; 1 additional point for each of Best in age division, Reserve in age division, Best Puppy and Best Junior in Futurity, Best Junior and Best Senior in Maturity; 2 additional points for Grand Prize Futurity and Grand Prize Maturity. *

This award is made possible with the generosity of several of Gwen and Carissa’s closest friends. The trophies, limited edition original prints by artist Leslie Hall, will be presented at the annual Health and Rescue Banquet, combining two of Gwen’s favorite aspects of the National: the Futurity and the fundraiser.
