As stated in the ROM Study: If the WAE results are to serve as an effective tool in making breeding decisions, then those Dobermans in the ROM should have their WAE results available in a public database to facilitate the research needed for quality breeding decisions. Since publication only applies to those dogs who have passed the WAE and otherwise have qualified for the ROM, no failing scores would be entered. This recommendation is considered important to elevating the ROM above “title status and making it serve its intended function of providing information that improves breeding decisions.”

In order to meet this recommendation, the WAE Committee created an entry form which includes a waiver. All participants in a Working Aptitude Evaluation sign the form to give permission to post their passing scores. This form is now in use and the passing scores are published here.

Passing scores from Working Aptitude Evaluations before March 2, 2011 were not approved to be published. If your dog earned a passing score in a prior evaluation and you wish to have that score published on dpca.org, complete the Waiver to Publish which will be sent to the WAE secretary upon completion.
